Sumit joined Stephensons in May 2024 as a graduate paralegal in the commercial litigation department.
He completed his LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Birmingham. Prior to joining Stephensons, Sumit has practised as a commercial litigation advocate in India.
At Stephensons, Sumit assists the partners and solicitors within the commercial litigation department in numerous areas including:
- Contract disputes
- Landlord and tenant litigation
- Possession proceedings
- Dilapidation disputes
- Defending disrepair / housing condition claims, including fitness for habitation
- Right of way disputes
- Debt recovery
- Rent recovery
In his free time, Sumit enjoys cooking, gardening, and hiking.
