Senior Associate and Legal Expenses Insurance Claims Manager
Biography
Stuart is a senior associate and manages the legal expenses insurance (LEI) claims team.
Stuart has previous experience in the insurance industry and vast customer care experience from his roles before he joined Stephensons.
He began working for Stephensons in 2007 as an instruction taker, initially dealing with new litigation cases. As his role expanded he dealt with new enquires in various areas of law which gave him a good overall knowledge of legal queries.
When the firm began to offer a helpline service to legal insurers the knowledge that Stuart had obtained enabled him to offer general practical guidance to policyholders and the opportunity to train his colleagues.
Stuart became a helpline team leader and the opportunity arose to take up a new role as LEI claims team leader which was close to his heart due to previous experience within the insurance industry.
Following a major personal bereavement Stuart put his head down and focused on his role.and was made the LEI claims manager in 2021. He is responsible for maintaining and improving customer relationships with external legal expense insurers.
Stuart manages a small team of four who focus on all aspects of legal insurance claims handling on behalf of external insurers.
