Jade Fairhurst

Biography

Jade advises clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters.

Jade is a commercial litigation solicitor in the commercial/consumer department. She is supervised by Julie Hunter and Louise Hebborn. Jade joined Stephensons in 2022 from a Manchester based firm where she had been acting on commercial disputes and advising on non-contentious corporate matters. Jade holds a Master’s in legal practice obtained from the University of Law in 2020.

Recent cases

Jade has recently had success in acting for a fostering agency in a commercial contract dispute defending a debt claim. The case settled following a referral to mediation.

Acting for a national vehicle hire company in a claim for breach of contract and unpaid invoices. Judgment and costs were awarded in our client’s favour following a hearing in the County Court.

Advising a patient transport service provider in a dispute with a large NHS trust. The dispute settled prior to the commencement of legal proceedings.

Acting for a client in relation to unpaid invoices for work carried out under a contract for the supply of services. The case settled in the pre-action stages with recovery of the invoices in full.
