Stephensons has achieved a ‘band 1’ ranking in the most recent edition of the prestigious Chambers & Partners legal rankings.
Stephensons’ crime team has secured a ‘band 1’ ranking in the 2025 guide, the highest ranking possible, and its family team has achieved a ‘band 3’ ranking for the second year in a row as well as a UK wide ‘band 3’ ranking for its work in children law.
Chambers & Partners is a leading independent professional legal research company. Each year, they provide detailed rankings and insight into the world's leading lawyers and law firms. Law firms and individual lawyers are ranked in bands from one to six. Being ranked in any band is a significant achievement.
Five Stephensons’ Partners have also been recognised in this year’s guide. Correna Platt, a Partner in Stephensons crime department achieved a ‘band 1’ ranking. Partner and Head of Family Law Victoria Gethin achieved a ‘band 4’ ranking and Jackie Price in Stephensons’ family department, achieved a ‘band 4’ ranking for family law and a ‘band 3’ ranking for her work in children law. Family Partner, Rachel Benett was also recognised as ‘Up and Coming’ in both family law and children law.
Elsewhere, Carl Johnson a Partner in Stephensons’ regulatory team, achieved a ‘band 5’ ranking for his work representing regulated professionals.
Inclusion in the 2025 Chambers & Partners guide follows further success for Stephensons in the Legal 500 rankings, in which seven practice areas and many more solicitors were featured.
