A Bolton PA is celebrating two milestones with Stephensons Solicitors LLP this month.
Sharon Charters has just celebrated 30 years working as a legal PA to Family law partner Andrew Mountain, making her the longest serving PA at Stephensons.
This achievement isn’t the only milestone Sharon is celebrating, as June also marks the 39th year Sharon has worked for the firm.
Since leaving school, Sharon joined what was then Berry’s Solicitors in Walkden as an office junior. She then moved the Bolton office where she began working for law costs draftsman Fred Robbins and Berry’s partner Michael Richards, before becoming PA to another Berry’s partner Andrew Mountain in 1984. Berrys then merged with Stephensons.
Sharon is a valued assistant to Andrew Mountain, who represents both children and parents in care, adoption, residence and contact applications.
Andrew Mountain said: “Sharon is one of the cornerstones of the family team that serves clients in the North West and across the country.
“I would like to thank Sharon for all of her help and support over the years. Our clients and professional colleagues have all come to know Sharon well and to appreciate her exceptional qualities and of course her good humour and long-suffering patience.”
