A team of staff at leading law firm, Stephensons Solicitors LLP, has taken part in the Edgworth Reservoir Challenge in a bid to raise money for the local charities, The Barlow and Mistletoe Cancer Care UK.
Eight members of staff from across the firm have helped to raise £400 for the two charities by taking part in the challenge. The staff completed either the 5k or 10k run.
The event, which took place on Sunday June 8th, was the first of its kind. It saw participants completing the runs around the picturesque Wayoh and Entwistle reservoirs.
The day also included other family activities such as cycling and rowing challengers, water activities, wall climbing, food and drink and live entertainment.
Ann Harrison, chairwoman at Stephensons, said: “Well done to all the runners who took part in the Edgworth Reservoir Challenge. It was a great day and to raise £400 is a great achievement which will I’m sure make a big difference to the two charities.”
