Wigan businesses are invited to attend the first 2014 networking event of the Wigan Borough Business Club on January 7th at 6.30pm.
The WBBC event will look at ‘email marketing for dummies’ with a presentation on how to best use e-marketing in your business by Paul Newton of YodelCreative Ltd in Leigh, which is also sponsoring the evening session.
Paul Newton said: “Almost all businesses can and should be using email marketing but many get it wrong. The seminar will look at ways to help businesses increase their turnover and profit by creating and deploying campaigns that engage recipients. Simply sending boring 'newsletters' to your list of subscribers isn't enough these days, we'll share some of our knowledge so that those attending can get the right results from day one.”
The presentation will cover email marketing aspects including which platform to use, managing data lists, template designs, content, deployment and strategies.
The event will be held at Westleigh Adult and Community Centre on Westleigh Lane in Leigh. There is a £5 entry fee for all delegates to cover the cost of room hire and food. Those interested in attending should register at www.wiganbbc.org.uk.
The Wigan Borough Business Club is run by a number of leading Wigan businesses and is supported by the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. The networking event takes place every month. It always includes a relevant presentation aimed at assisting small businesses, as well as the opportunity to network, with refreshments included.
