In a bid to help HR managers and small business owners with the minefield of employment law issues, leading law firm Stephensons Solicitors LLP has created an online forum.
The employment forum allows those who are responsible for enforcing employment law within their workplace to ask Stephensons’ solicitors for assistance on any related topic at any time.
Stephensons will aim to respond to HR questions within a 24-hour period.
Phil Richardson, who created the forum, said: “We’ve implemented the employment forum following feedback from clients and contacts who are sometimes concerned about asking what they perceive to be ‘trivial’ questions. Being an online facility, users can remain anonymous if they prefer and leave their HR and employment law questions for us at any time of the day, without incurring fees.”
The forum is the latest innovation from Stephensons’ employment team, aimed at providing clients with added value. It follows on from the successful launch of fixed price employment law services earlier this year, which have been a success with small businesses who need certainty over legal costs.
Stephensons’ employment team acts for businesses and individuals and specialises in a range of services including wrongful dismissal, breach of contract, compromise agreements, restrictive covenants, discrimination claims, equal pay, redundancy, business transfer and advocacy.
