Fall due to pothole in airport - £6,000 settlement

Stephensons’ personal injury solicitors have recently settled a case on behalf of a man who fell as a result of a pothole at his place of work.

The man, working as a pilot, was making his way towards an aircraft hangar when he fell as a result of a pothole, twisting his right foot. He suffered from ligament damage to his right knee and was unable to drive, work or take part in his usual hobbies for 5 weeks.

The airport did not admit liability, however, made an offer of £6,000 which our client accepted.

Accidents at work are unfortunately very common and can result in serious injuries such as in this case. We have a team of personal injury specialists who are available to help people who have suffered from falls.
