Apparently better than expected unemployment figures came out yesterday - analysts are now revising forecasts that unemployment will hit three million in 2010. Thankfully it looks like the speed at which people are losing their jobs is slowing. However, the figures are still frightening: The jobless total rose by another 30,000 to 2.46 million in the 3 months to September. Whilst it was the lowest quarterly increase for 16 months, it is little comfort to those people fighting to keep their heads above water.
Roll on the day when we start to create real jobs again........
