Congratulations to David Kitchen, a trainee solicitor, (pictured below) who came first runner up in the Bolton Law Society's Trainee of the Year Awards recently.
David worked in Stephensons' Family team before embarking on his training contract with the firm in September 2011. During this time, he has undertaken 'seats' in Family, Commercial, Residential Conveyancing and is currently seconded to the firm's Intervention Unit, which acts as an agent on behalf of the SRA when they move to close down a law firm.
David was nominated due to his exceptional legal knowledge and willingness to research and learn very quickly. The nature of work which David has undertaken often has to be carried out at times of urgency and particular stress to clients. He has demonstrated excellent judgment in the decisions and actions taken.
