Leading North West law firm Stephensons Solicitors LLP has recruited a senior criminal lawyer to its Wigan team.
Graham Simpson, formerly a partner with Wigan firm Simpson Heald Pearson Solicitors, has joined Stephensons as a consultant in the Criminal Litigation department at Wigan Investment Centre.
Graham’s role at Stephensons will involve undertaking defence work on behalf of individuals accused of often very serious crimes.
Martin Jones, managing partner of the Criminal Litigation department at Stephensons, said: “Graham’s expertise and knowledge will be a crucial element of our growth and development plans in 2012. We are pleased to have someone with his experience on board.”
Graham joins a highly experienced Crime team at Stephensons which is recommended by the industry’s independent legal guides, Chambers UK and Legal 500. The department acts for individuals and businesses facing investigation or prosecution. The team has a national reputation and expertise through dealing with a huge variety of cases in courts of all levels throughout the country.
